I already knew the Jersey style thin crust round pies were great, but man the Vodka Sicilian pie is hands down the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life. The vodka garlic cream sauce is unbelievable. The dough is amazing with a perfect crunch. An absolute must try by all. If you came in for something else, get a slice of this, and be amazed. Joe is also a great guy, very personable and will talk to you anytime. Love supporting his shop. Thank you Joe for bringing such great pizza to the area!

I’m not a NJ or NY pizza expert, I just love pizza and small biz. Oh and cream soda! I loved that we walked in a had a no pressure experience. We got an introduction to all the slices and every one of the pies on the menu was available with two right out of the oven. My kiddo and I opted for the tomato and the cheese and we loved them both. Crust was good, underside was firm and crispy, and the level of ingredients was perfectly balanced. I saw some negative reviews say greasy, but not a drop of grease was on the box holding the slices. Another said tomato sauce is just ketchup and I can also confirm it is not. And my favorite negative reviews was complaining that the restaurant smelled intensely of garlic when entering, which based on the prep that could occur makes perfect sense - alas it was not! Thanks again for the great experience, we’ll definitely be back soon!

I have been looking for this kind of pizza since I went to NY/NJ in 2018. I fell in love with that thin pizza on my first bite 7 years ago. I cannot express how excited I am to have Pie Life so close to home!!!! Well, it’s 45 mins away but worth every second of the drive!!! I love that they sell by the slice or the whole pie. The pizza was fresh and the paper thin crust managed to be crispy on just the very bottom layer. Unfortunately, they were out of vodka sauce but it’s ok. It gives me a reason to come back soon!! The staff was super friendly. The pizza was heated within maybe 3 mins. Just amazing!!! I had the garlic white with ricotta, cheese and sausage, and cheese and pepperoni. I can’t wait to try a slice with that vodka sauce! I can’t thank you enough for bringing this gem to the Midwest!!!! We NEEDED this!!! (In my pic the pizza looks like it’s dry but I promise you it is NOT!!! It’s perfection)!

WOW. The best crust I've ever had no matter the type. We tried the Sicilian pan with the vodka sauce and the New Jersey slices. Service is phenomenal, warm and polite. We will be back.

We were so sad when the owner sold his West Chicago spot, then heard from our friends that he opened new spots in Glen Ellyn and Carol Stream! Finally able to try it tonight and it did NOT disappoint. Sicilian style was out of this world, thin crust is a 12/10 classic. Delicious and quality toppings and down to earth, friendly neighborhood service. This place is the real deal and has a cult following for a reason. Go get it and enjoy

I set out today on a pizza mission and went to 6 of the best NY pizza slice places in the Chicago suburbs. PIE LIFE takes the win. Every slice was amazing, and while I am a NY slice guy, the square was unbelievable. The, owner Joe is a pizza visionary, he’s truly making not just great, but exquisite pizzas here. I only rate places that I believe deserve 5 stars, and this was an easy addition. I’ve currently tried around 100 pizza places.

probably one of the best, if not best pizza we ever ate! The only negative is probably The dining area is kind of small but if you look at it as a carry out pizza place you will overlook it! The price is just right, we ordered a 18inch pizza, half and half(half is sausage pepperoni and the other half is vodka pizza) for the two adult and two slice of cheese pizza for the kids, only cost 40 The service is amazing! These staffs, all three of them, were extremely welcoming! its actually better than a dine in restaurant! The staff would take his time to explain each pizza they have available. I think you actually get the personal attention with the cashier, with the chef and the guy who give you the pizza when its out. While you are eating, each of them would ask you how the pizza is! The services is much much better than most restaurant who command you for 18% tips lol The crust is crispy but yet very soft, the sauce is phenomenal and honestly there so much fresh toppings I honest cant tell if there any cheese on the pizza lol

I don’t give many places 5 stars, but this place is one of the few exceptions. Hands down the best jersey style thin crust anywhere in Illinois. There’s no question about it. Always consistent, flavorful, and the undercarriage is crispy like a cracker. Joe is a super cool guy, and very friendly. He treats you like family when you come in. Dining space is small, but this is a quick eats type of place.
